What is Positive Psychology?

Positive Psychology is the study of the strengths that enable individuals and communities to thrive.

The field is founded on the belief that people want to lead meaningful and fulfilling lives, to cultivate what is best withing themselves, and to enhance their experiences of love, work, and play.

The Process

Dream it.

First, we’ll take some time to help you clarify what you want out of the next stage of your life, what might be holding you back, and we’ll use this clarity to explore what’s possible. This is a very enjoyable experience that produces new insights, expanded options, and unblocks energy that will guide our work together.

Design the path.

Next, we’ll explore how you can best use your strengths and resources to get to where you want to go. During this phase, we may discover untapped strengths, deeper knowing, and a greater appreciation of all that you have available to help you on your journey. You have multiple good lives out there to choose from.

Make it happen.

And then we’ll develop and implement a plan to get from here to there. We’ll figure out what it will take, work together on any practical, energetic, or emotional issues standing in your way, and set you on a path to achieve your most important aspirations for your very precious life.
